“Easily one of the best public courses in New York State, Trump Ferry Point is an excellent links course located in the Bronx and features dramatic views of The East River and Manhattan Skyline. With wind always in play, this is a challenging course with fescue lining the majority of holes. While not cheap, this is well-worth a play to visitors of New York."

“Gets a bump for the views of the NYC skyline and the nearby bridges, but the course itself is just ok."

“Stunning views of the city and neighboring bridges are seen throughout the course. The course plays very difficult if you are having trouble off the tees. The long fescue that borders the fairways is very penal. Can't be the proximity to the city, but the greens fees may be a little out of place in the area it is located. The main clubhouse was not finished during my visit, but it looks like it will add a lot of value and service to the course."

“The service could use a bit of an upgrade, but the permanent clubhouse has yet to be built. Playing through the dunes can get a little repetitive, but the course is generally compelling and the green complexes are very interesting. The real feature are the views which can be seen from most parts of the course."

“A great and difficult layout with panoramic finishing holes. It is a first shot golf course with penal fairway bunkers scattered in common landing areas. The links style would play better if the turf was firmer. The course is not always in great condition and could be run a bit more efficiently. For about $50 you can use the practice facilities for the day (grass driving range, short game area (50yds and in) and large putting green. You can't beat it in terms of proximity to NYC (less than 15 minutes), but the steep price tag ($200 on weekends) can leave a bit to be desired."
